Statement on Potential Delay of CMS Part B Experiment

There is no delay to the CMS Part B experiment that we know of officially. The 2019 date simply refers to the statutory requirement that the final rule be filed by that time, not that CMS intends to delay it for 3 years. COA believes, for all the reasons stated in our letters and others from provider and patient organizations, that the rule should be withdrawn. We stand ready, as we have communicated to CMS, to work on meaningful oncology payment reform that ensures quality patient care.
